We estimate that David entertained around 2,500 people for the all day event, introducing acts, singing, and telling jokes, and keeping the atmosphere going. David entertained us in a WI meeting where we were looking back at the late 50's and the 1960's as we are celebrating our own centenary during this year of meetings.  He quickly established a good rapport with our members and amused us with jokes, reminiscences of his own journey in the  music scene and a reminder of events in the decade.  We particularly liked the chance to request and join in, the great songs which many of us know so well and it was amazing how David could accompany brilliantly whichever songs we asked for, on his 12 string acoustic guitar. He finished up giving answers to the questions we had thought up and demonstrating his encyclopaedic knowledge of the music and musicians of that era.  Altogether a lively and memorable afternoon! Many thanks for agreeing to come such a distance too.'

Thanks for your e mail. Can you give me the e mail address for the booking agency we used please so I can make a provisional booking for you again next year?

I also want to e mail them to let them know how superb you were on the day. You judged the audience perfectly and made sure all of my customers were kept happy and entertained whilst we got on with serving dinners and drinks.

This is always the most difficult part of any Christmas party and if the entertainment isn't up to scratch it can quickly spoil the whole event and is the point where the general manager usually has to step in to get things going. You did this superbly which gave me the confidence to leave you to it, allowing me to concentrate on the operational aspects of the event. All of this combined to give an excellent event that customers have taken the time to write in about as they enjoyed it so much. Thanks for helping us make the afternoon so special for our customers.

Just to let you know everything went well at party on the 20th, David St John went down a bomb and every one thought he was great, his "This is Your Life" spot was brilliant and caught the 'target'  cold, he was astounded. He then went on to do the rest of his show with the gags and impressions much to the enjoyment of the guests.
 

David is so easy to work with and he was quite happy to slot himself in and out of the evening doing whatever was required to make the evening the success it turned out to be. His advice on a few things was also invaluable. He really is great value for money and I am so glad we have him again next week. It certainly won't be for the last time.
